Traveler Scorebook & Field Guide
The THIRTY81 Traveler Scorebook is a mashup of the scoresheets and ballpark diagrams I’ve created over the past decade. It’s been a long process and I’m pleased to offer this limited inaugural run of 250 hand-made editions (pencil not included).
Designed to be more than a scorebook, this companion for the intrepid ballpark traveler measures a tidy 8 1/2 x 6 inches. Tucked between the letterpress covers are enough sheets to score up to 42 games, a brief “how to” for beginners, and a 10-page MLB and Triple-A field guide with diagrams and details for 60 baseball fields.
The materials for this project were meticulously curated. 80lb. text scoring pages welcome either pen or pencil with negligible bleed through. 140lb. kraft front and back covers are folded over for extra durability, chosen specifically to offer stiffness yet “break-in” over time like a cherished baseball glove. Heavy double-o wire binding along the top enables comfortable scoring for both righties and lefties.
Scoresheets use the same design as our letterpress scorecards. Made for casual score keeping, the grid accommodates 11 innings, one substitution per batter, slots for seven pitchers, and traditional columns for boxscore totals.
